Utsjoki pickup time: 09:15 AM (arrive in Ivalo around midday)
Ivalo pick up time: 2 PM (arrive in Utsjoki about 5pm)
Pick up/drop off locations: In Utsjoki, we pick you up (or drop you off) from your door, anywhere within 3km of Utsjoki centre. This includes Arctic Resort, Hotel Utsjoki, Lomatärppi, Lomakylä Valle, etc. In Ivalo, we pick up or drop off at Ivalo airport, Ivalo bus station, any hotel or accommodation near Ivalo center, Inari center, or Kaamanen center. Examples are Hotel Kultahippu, Hotel Ivalo, Aurora Village, Guesthouse Husky, Wilderness Hotel Inari, Kaamasen Kievari, etc.

At Utsjoki Tours, we provide transportation services to and from Utsjoki. We pick up from Ivalo airport, Ivalo bus station, Ivalo hotels and Inari hotels and we drop you off at your accommodation door anywhere within a 3km radius of Utsjoki center (or anywhere en-route to Utsjoki, such as Inari or Kaamanen). It might also be possible to collect/drop off at Kirkenes airport or Kirkenes harbour in Norway, so do enquire with us if you need that.

Utsjoki to Ivalo is a long drive (around 2 hours 15 mins on a good day), it is a 5 hour round trip for us, so we can only do it once per day. We have set those pickup times to work well with incoming and outgoing afternoon flights and buses. If you fly in on an evening flight, you can consider staying in a hotel in Ivalo and we’ll pick you up the next day around 2pm. If you are staying in self catering accommodation in Utsjoki, we can stop at the supermarket on the way up so you can do your shopping. This is a shared transfer service, so there can be a other customers on the bus, it is not a private taxi service. If there is no-one else booked, then we are quite flexible and we can change the pick up/drop off time to suit you. But if we have multiple customers, then we’ll ususally stick to our scheduled times.

Please note, this isn’t a regular bus service, we are a private company and we only make these drives if people have booked them. So don’t expect we are always there at the airport and that you can pay on the day, because if no-one is booked, then we don’t make the drive down there. So if you need this transportation for your holiday, you must book it in advance. Booking in advance secures your seat(s) on the bus and it also allows us to plan better, which makes everything run smoother on the day.

We have a nice comfortable 16 seat tour bus with a trailer for suitcases (if needed), so we can carry quite big groups. If you require transport for more than 16 people, we can also add an additional tour bus and carry 32 persons.
