Pick up/drop off locations: In Utsjoki, we pick you up (and drop you off) from your door, anywhere within 3km of Utsjoki centre. This includes Arctic Resort, Hotel Utsjoki, Lomatärppi, Lomakylä Valle, Airbnb, etc.

Join us on a trip to a frozen lake where we’ll attempt to catch some fish. You can drill your hole in the ice with the auger and dangle a line down to see if any fish bite. Even if we don’t catch any fish, it’s a great day out. And yes, it’s totally safe. The ice can be a half a metre thick in place and we only go ice fishing on ice we have measured the thickness personally beforehand. We will of course be bringing hot berry juice and snacks as usual. It’s super nice out there when the sun is setting/rising. It’s like you are literally sitting in a picture postcard.
